Faculty management

The faculty management consists of the dean, deputy dean, deputy dean for research and the office director. They lead the faculty's activities in accordance with assignments from the Faculty Board, governance frameworks and the current delegation procedure. The Faculty Board is the highest decision-making authority, with overall responsibility for education, research and collaboration within the faculty. The Board also decides on the establishment period and sets Inter Arts Center's regulations. 

Institutions

Each institution, Malmö Art Academy, Malmö Academy of Music and Malmö Theater Academy, is led by a Board of Directors and a Head of Department. The Board of Directors set guidelines for the institution, while the Head of Department is responsible for the management of the daily activities.

Councils and committees 

To support strategic and operative work there are also a number of councils and committees with representatives from the faculty’s organisation. All decision-making and drafting bodies that affect education and the students’ situation also include student representatives. Further support services are provided by the faculty office.
