Student life

Welcome to the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts in Malmö. And welcome to Lund University, considered the number one city for students in Sweden.

As a student with us you are represented by the faculty student union SKFM. The student union is a non-religious and non-political organisation, open for all students, with a mission to monitor the interests of the students and promote their influence in matters that concern the faculty. The union is represented on the institution boards, councils and the faculty board, which is the faculty's highest decision-making organ. It is also represented in the teacher nomination committee and takes part in recruits and promotion of teachers.

The union maintains contact with Lund University's central functions and student life as well as with other artistic universities and organisations.

Academic matters and support

If you have questions, concerns or encounter study-related problems, it is important to know that there is help available to you.
