- LIBRARY OF THE FACULTY OF FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS
The Library of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts is a faculty library primarily intended for students, teachers and researchers at the three institutions which form part of the faculty, but it is also open to the general public.
The Library of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts consists of three subject libraries, the libraries at Malmö Academy of Music, Malmö Theatre Academy and Malmö Art Academy, which are located at three different addresses in Malmö. We are also part of the network Lund University Libraries.
Opening hours
The library is staffed and open to everyone:
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10.00-16.00
Tuesday: 13.00-16:00
Friday: 10.00-13.00
Additional opening hours for students and staff at Malmö Academy of Music with LU card:
Monday–Sunday: 8.00-22.00
Closed for summer 8/6-23/8

How to get here
Return books
You can return books in the return box located next to the entrance to the library.
The library is closed for the semester and will reopen on 31 August. During the summer, it will not be possible to return books.

How to get here
Important information
The libraries at the Art Academy and the Theatre Academy will be co-located this summer in the Theatre Academy’s premises as part of the work towards a shared physical faculty library. Therefore, we will be closed from 25 May to 31 August. The shared library at Bergsgatan 31 will open on 31 August.
Please note: During this period, it will not be possible to return books at this address.
The Library of the Academy of Music will close to the public on 8 June and reopen on 24 August. The last date for returning books via the book return box at the Academy of Music is June 11.
