How to borrow material
- LIBRARY OF THE FACULTY OF FINE AND PERFORMING ARTS
If you are a student or employee at Lund University:
First, get an LU card: https://lukortet.lu.se/en.Then you can create a library account in Finn.
On the Finn front page, click on Log in. Then click on Register new account.
Read the lending conditions, click Accept and Log in and you'll be sent to a login window where you log in with your Student/Lucat account. Select which borrower category you belong to and select your home library. If you are a researcher, log out and visit a library desk to get help completing your account.
If you are not a student or employee at Lund University:
Get a Finn account by visiting one of our libraries. Bring your ID with you.
Loan period
The loan period is normally 28 days (14 days for course books), with automatic re-lending if there is no queue. You will receive an email notification when the loan period is about to end. In the unlikely event that this does not work, it is still your responsibility to keep track of the loan period. You can check the return date in LUBcat under Your summery.

Before you start borrowing you must first read through the lending conditions for libraries at Lund University. They also apply to the Library of the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts.

Ordering books that are not available in our libraries
If you are a student or employee at the Faculty of Fine of Fine and Performing Arts and need material for your studies or research that is not available in any library at Lund University, you can either submit a purchase suggestion or order the material via interlibrary loan through us.
First search in the Finn search service. If the material you want to order is not available in the library catalog, you can use the order form below. Please note that Libris borrower orders are being phased out and that the form below should be used instead.

How long it takes to receive a book or sheet music you have ordered depends on availability and where we order it from. We will notify you by email when your ordered material has arrived. You can pick it up at the information desk during staffed opening hours. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Special lending conditions for Malmö Academy of Music
Only students and staff at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts can borrow sheet music.
Special lending conditions for Malmö Art Academy
The art films in the library at Malmö Art Academy are reference copies. You are therefore not allowed to remove them from the library.
Special lending conditions for Malmö Theatre Academy
Students at Malmö Theatre Academy register their loans via a form when the librarian is not present.
The library at Malmö Theatre Academy has a large collection of scripts - both in digital and printed form. All manuscripts are registered in the printed manuscript catalogue in the library. Physical manuscripts are found in the music room next to the library. Students at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts can access digital manuscripts by emailing the library.
