Here we have gathered search tools and access points which let you search for printed and electronic books, sheet music, manuscripts, articles, dissertations and other resources in the fields of art, music and theatre.
For several of the services, you need to log in with your Student/Lucat account to access full texts if you are off campus.
Use Finn to find books, journals, articles, and databases at Lund University.
You can access Finn from home via the libraries' shared web page or directly at https://finn.lub.lu.se.
It is possible to search in Finn without logging in. However, if you are not logged in, you will not see all available results and you will not be able to access Lund University's licensed electronic resources.
There are two options for accessing the full content in Finn from home (please note that access to full content from home is only possible if you're a student or employee at Lund University):
VPN
By using the VPN (Virtual Private Network) service you can access internal resources at Lund University when working remotely. The VPN service creates a secure connection between your computer and the university's network.
Instructions for connecting to VPN are available on the LU Servicedesk website.
Log in to your Finn account
To use Finn as an authorised user, click Login at the top of the page. You will then see two login options:
- Lund University Account
Use this if you have a Lucat-ID or a student account. - Other Account
Choose this if you do not have a Lucat-ID or a student account.
Please note! You still need a Lucat-ID or a student account to access the full text of the university's licensed electronic resources, even when using this login method.
If you do not have a Finn account, click on the link Register New Account to create one. If you do not have a Lucat-ID or a student account, you need to visit the library's information desk to create a library account.
Libris is Sweden's national library catalogue. Here you can search for literature from all research libraries in the country and some larger public libraries, too.
If the book you are looking for is not available at any of the libraries at Lund University, you can borrow it from another library in Sweden through an interlibrary loan.

Lund University Publications Student Papers contains student papers and degree projects. It is also where you register your own Bachelor's or Master's thesis.
The research portal allows you to search among all publications at Lund University – articles, doctoral theses, conference papers and reports. In addition to research outputs you also find information about our researchers, research groups, projects, and other research related activities.
