The Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts' minimum level

For the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, LUCRIS is a main channel for communicating our research, both internally within the university and externally towards other higher education institutions and the surrounding society. To ensure that the information is consistent and up-to-date, the faculty has decided on a minimum level, i.e. the minimum amount of information that researchers must fill in and keep updated.

In short, the minimum level means that:

  • Your profile page must be updated with an image and text
  • Your projects should be registered
  • Your research output should be continuously updated

In addition, you are advised to register your research activities as well as prizes and awards.

How to do it:

As an active researcher at Lund University, you automatically have a visible profile page on Lund University's Research Portal. The personal information on the profile page is retrieved from Lucat. In addition to this, all researchers must also add:

  • photo
    keywords describing the research area
a description of their own research field in Swedish and English

An updated profile helps outsiders, such as researchers from other higher education institutions or funders, to find relevant information about you.

As a researcher at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, you must register your projects in LUCRIS. A project is a delimited research activity with a clear start and end time, such as an artistic development project, a doctoral thesis or any other research project.

Researchers at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts are recommended to register their activities in LUCRIS in order to make the research that is carried out in ways other than publication visible.

This can be anything from conference participation and presentations, lectures and public artistic performances, to participation in festivals, workshops, debates and so on. It may also include editorship of journals or membership of committees, supervision of doctoral students, expert assignments or guest lectures at other higher education institutions. Media appearances such as interviews in the daily and specialist press or participation in radio or TV programmes are also registered in the activity module.

You can then link an activity to other information in LUCRIS, such as projects, external and internal organisations and research outputs, to create a more complete picture of your research.
